New trekking route in Everest region
Mera Peak Circuit route is new exploring trekking route in Everest region. Mera Peak Circuit Trekking is less crowded trekking area then Everest Base Camp trekking. Mera Peak Circuit Trekking itinerary includes local tourist destination such as Patale Dhap, Khiraule Gompa, Panch Pokhari, Thangnak Gomba, Tama Pokhari, Mera High Camp and Zatrwa La Pass to Lukla. Mera Peak Circuit Trekking gives wonderful trekking experience along with a superb view of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, and several snow-capped mountains.
Makalu Barun National Park Flora and Fauna
Mera Peak Circuit Trekking is inside the Makalu Barun National Park in Hinku Valley, Solukhumbu. Makalu Barun national park was established in 1991 AD. It covers an area of 1500 square km and 1500 meters at 5000 meters above sea level. Mera Peak Circuit trekking covers from 1300 meter to 5800 meter geography and biography, cultural village, rhododendron forest, lakes, alpine forest, glaciers, mountain, and passes. The protected area is an environment for a great diversity of flora and fauna species.

Mera Peak Circuit Trekking follows a village of different ethnic group such as Chhetri, Tamang, Rai, and Sherpa. They have their own language, lifestyle, culture and religion. Khiraule Gomba and Thangnak Gomba
Khiraule Monastery is local tourist destination in Mera Peak Circuit Trekking. Khiraule Gomba is one of the oldest monastery in Nepal which is Estd on 1738. The monastery is surrounding by the tall pine trees and highly appreciated by visitors because of its mesmerizing and unique external design. Actually, every month of “Dashami” (Tenth Moon Day) is special day for villagers to pray and puja at Moanstery. During Mera Peak Circuit trekking you will reach Thangnak Gomba which is called Dukffuk Moanstery. Dukffuk Monastery means "Dragon Cave Monastery" in Tibetan. Now we can see the dragon head symbol inside the monastery and the tail outside. The main point is that here you can see the map of Mera Peak in natural stone.
Panch Pokhari and Tama Pokhari
Mera Peak Circuit trekking contains Panch pokhari (4200m) and Tama pokhari. Panch Pokhari means Five Lake which is the combination of five holy ponds. Thousands of local people visit in the day of Janai Purnima and Nag Panchami on August month. Nepal Tourism Board announced Panch Pokhari is most visited place in Nepal. From here you will get to see valley of East Lower Solukhumbu and some mountains like Numbur, Kangtenga, Kanchenjunga, Kusum Kanguru, and Kyashar. Tama Pokhari is a glacier lake which is shown in Mera Peak map as a Sabai Tsho. Sabai Taho means "Copper Hide Lake" in Sherpa language and "Tama Pokhari" in Nepali language. The local people said years of ago people hide their property in that lake like copper, brass etc. Tama Pokhari glacial Lake was outburst on 03 September 1998.
Zatrwa La pass to Lukla and Hurhure pass
Mera Peak Circuit Trekking covers Zatrwa La pass (4600m) and Hurhure pass (4200m) also. During Zatrwa La Pass, you can see lovely views of Numbur Himal, Kusum Kanguru, Mt. Cho oyu, Kongde Peak, and Mera Peak. The trail passes through pine forests and later walks on the off the beaten track. From the Hurhure pass, you will get to see the eastern valley of lower Solukhumbu and Kanchenjunga range.
