Best Time to go on the Everest Gokyo Chola Pass Trek

The best time to go on Gokyo Cho La Pass Trekking is from pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (late September to December). During Post-monsoon time, the sky is usually clear and outstanding mountain views can be seen. Likewise in pre-monsoon, the entire Everest region gets bloomed up with rhododendrons and other wildflowers making the journey even more fascinating. However, whatever may be the time of the year, the higher the altitude gets, the colder the climate will get. 

Food and Accommodation during Gokyo Chola Pass Trekking

During the Everest Gokyo Cho La Pass Trek-18 days, you will stay in a comfortable and clean lodge. The rooms will be on a twin-sharing basis. There will be limited furniture and common bathrooms. While in Kathmandu, you will stay in a three-star hotel. 

Food will be served as per the menu of lodge/guest house. Besides that, you can buy bars and snacks on the way in the lower altitude. There will also welcome and farewell dinner in Kathmandu along with breakfast every day.

Is  Everest Gokyo Chola Pass Trek difficult?

Yes, Everest Gokyo Cho La Pass Trek is a difficult trek. The trail will include many ascend & descends on steep, rugged, and glacier paths. You have to be in good shape to go on this trek. Every day you have to trek for around 6 to 7 hours on challenging terrain, which does require good physical fitness, determination, and adequate stamina.
